Eric Furphy

Eric is coming to us after graduating from Georgia College and State University. He is a graduate of Lambert High School in 2015, where he was a 3-time all region/county selection. Eric was also a member of the 2014 Lambert State/National Champion baseball team, starting all 38 games at second base. Out of high school, he signed with Georgia Southern University where he played in 17 games freshman year before transferring to play junior college baseball in North Carolina, and then finishing out his playing career at GCSU.

Eric started with the Georgia Bombers summer of 2018 as an assistant with the 16U Bombers. Since then, he has coached across multiple age groups, including 17U, 16U, and 12U.

Eric’s goals are to help hitters and infielders develop as athletes. Hitters will learn to move fast while under control and stay through the middle of the field. Infielders will learn to assert themselves as defenders through knowledge of infield play and fundamentals.
