Heck of a weekend for the players and coaches of 13U (Gaines) going 4-1 and losing a 3-2 game in the Championship to the top team in the state of Georgia, Smartense Angels (Northcutt). The team battled their way to the Championship by way of a 18-3 route of Titans Baseball and a 8-6 revenge win over HomePlate Chilidogs (Searcy).
The Championship game was filled with great defense and fantastic pitching as the game went through 9 innings of 0-0 baseball before going to the Bases Loaded, One Out – Tie Breaker in the 10th where Smartense prevailed 3-2.
