Tommy Butler

Coming off of his USSSA national title in 2015 with the 11u TGBA Warriors, Tommy will be the Head coach of a 12u Bombers team this 2016 season.

Tommy is a homegrown product of Alpharetta youth baseball. He was a four year varsity starter at Alpharetta High School, where he was named Honorable Mention All-Conference as a freshman in 2006. By 2008, Tommy was named 1st Team All County, 1st Team Dugout Club Tournament, as well as 2nd Team All-Conference Region 6. From 2005-2008, Tommy spent his summer playing for Chris Mcraney on the original Team Georgia baseball teams. During his time there,  he and his teammates won 3 national titles: the 2006 WWBA Perfect Game National Championship, the 2007 BCS Southeast Perfect National Championship, and the 2008 Cincinnati National Invitational.

By 2013, Tommy returned to the game as an assistant coach under Jim Butler for the 16u Team Georgia Baseball Team. Later in 2014, he became an assistant coach for the 14u and 15u TGBA clubs. Following this season, Tommy was named head coach of 11u TGBA Warriors, who won the 2015 USSSA National Championship in Gulf Shores Alabama. Tommy says “I hope to inspire kids and show them that hard work can be equally fun as it is rewarding.”

In 2016, Tommy took that same team as a 12u Bombers team where they finished with a 38-23 record including an Elite 8 finish at Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Tommy will be coaching this season with the Bombers 13u (Hudson) staff along with Coach Brack Hudson and Coach Cody White.
